Job Description

Giesecke+Devrient Currency Technology America, Inc. is seeking a skilled Technical Instructor to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics, as well as experience in instructional development techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide classroom instruction to Field Engineers and other technical personnel on the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
  • Assist in developing student evaluation programs and evaluating each student's performance.
  • Design and develop training curricula to ensure the effectiveness of course objectives.
  • Write and maintain service and training documentation to reflect service requirements.
  • Conduct on-site training of Field Engineers to enhance their capability in a customer environment.
  • Develop and implement an effective Training Critique and Evaluation program between field personnel and the Training department.
  • Perform administrative tasks to support students during training.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a classroom setting.
  • Quality-focused with strong organization and communication skills.
  • High levels of professionalism, diplomacy, and patience working with stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively in a multicultural, international environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Knowledge of the latest organizational training tools and technologies.
Education and Experience:
  • BA degree preferred with 3+ years related experience required.
  • Experience developing computer-based training is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with personnel at all levels.
  • A good understanding of the requirements of a field service organization is strongly preferred.
  • The candidate should possess excellent computer skills relating to both hardware and software.
