Physical Therapist

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will provide direct 1-on-1 treatments for 60 minutes, collaborating with a talented team of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive evaluations and testing, physical therapy treatments, and education to seriously ill patients or those having complex medical problems.
- Assist in supervising staff and students and in developing in-service training programs for continuing staff development.
- Communicate regularly with members of the patient care team, the patient, family members, and others involved with the patient's care.
- Assess and assist the staff in assessing complex patients and problems.
- Plan, develop, and implement a result-oriented treatment plan responsive to the individualized needs of the patient and includes clear, measurable goals.
- Collaborate with other members of the patient care team and use community resources to plan for the continued care, support, and follow-up of the patient after discharge.
- Graduation from physical therapy school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia.
- One year of experience as a physical therapist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.
