We are looking for a Senior Adult Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient care to our patients. If you are passionate about patient care and thrive in a supportive environment, we would love to hear from you.
Role Responsibilities and QualificationsOur Registered Nurses are pivotal in delivering clinical expertise and compassionate care. In the Behavioral Health program, you will provide tailored treatment for adults facing emotional and mental health challenges. As an RN in our acute inpatient unit, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough patient assessments, ensuring readiness for participation.
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans to enhance outcomes.
- Delivering direct nursing care and overseeing non-licensed staff in accordance with established protocols.
- Engaging in treatment team discussions to refine goals and interventions.
- Administering medications safely and effectively.
- Offering education and emotional support tailored to individual patient needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice, or eligibility to obtain it within 90 days of graduation.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
- Previous clinical experience is preferred, with a focus on inpatient psychiatric care.
- Basic computer proficiency.
