The Louisiana State University is seeking a highly qualified Instructor/Assistant Professor of Chemistry to join our academic team. This is a full-time, tenure-track position that requires a strong commitment to teaching, research, and service.
Key Responsibilities- Teach organic and inorganic chemistry courses to undergraduate students, as well as other chemistry-related courses as needed.
- Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi and supporting materials, in a timely manner.
- Communicate grades and student learning outcomes to students and the division in a timely manner.
- Hold office hours and provide academic advising to students.
- Participate in committee work and other university service.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department or university.
- Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field.
- Strong teaching and communication skills.

- Postdoctoral research experience.
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
- Strong publication record in chemistry-related fields.
The salary range for this position is $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The university offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, life, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement options, and paid holidays.
