Food Service Runner Responsibilities

Food Service Runners play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of meals to guests once prepared by the kitchen. They are also tasked with maintaining the highest standards of food presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver meals promptly to the appropriate guests based on table and position numbers
  • Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Transport food or beverages safely and efficiently
  • Utilize all necessary tools and equipment effectively
  • Communicate effectively to understand and follow job requirements
  • Manage multiple tasks calmly in a fast-paced environment
  • Work in confined spaces with varying noise and temperature levels
  • Lift and move items safely, adhering to weight limits
