We are currently seeking a highly skilled Bank Staff Accountant to join our client's team in Ocala, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the Accounting and Finance departmental functions.

The Bank Staff Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Daily/monthly reconciliation of bank and general ledger accounts.
  • Managing full-cycle accounts payable, including receiving and processing all invoices.
  • Preparation of accounting management reports and/or schedules, as needed.
  • Maintaining sound Accounting Step-by-Step procedures to enable the department to successfully pass audit and regulatory reviews.
  • Monitoring and testing of specific consumer compliance transactions.

The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, as well as one or more years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably within the banking industry. Additionally, the candidate should have a working knowledge of MS Excel and Word, as well as computerized accounting software packages.
