  • As a Process Optimization Specialist at Viaflex, you will be responsible for completing assigned projects within your internship discipline, participating in sponsored training, and collaborating closely with mentors and managers to achieve successful project completion.
  • You will also provide periodic updates on assigned projects, present a summer-end internship presentation, and demonstrate Viaflex Team Member Values in daily actions.
  • A key responsibility will be to identify potential risks or roadblocks in projects and offer solutions to mitigate them, while also assisting in analyzing existing business processes by gathering data, identifying inefficiencies, and documenting workflows.
  • Additionally, you will create flowcharts, diagrams, and reports to visually map out processes and areas for improvement, collect and analyze data related to process performance, and prepare reports summarizing key findings.
  • Your contributions will support decision-making and inform the implementation of process improvements based on analysis.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or GED, pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, process engineering, operations management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously without close supervision, problem-solving skills, and proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office.
  • A strong ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff, work with high-level confidentiality, and be flexible and multitask.

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year
