Job Summary:

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist Level III to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality ultrasound images and diagnostic data to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit exceptional patient care skills by explaining procedures to patients, reducing anxieties, and obtaining patient cooperation.
  • Prepare and position patients for examinations, ensuring optimal diagnostic quality and patient safety.
  • Select and operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images and diagnostic data, adhering to specifications and guidelines.
  • Record and maintain patient data accurately and efficiently, utilizing computer systems and other tools.
  • Orient new hires and provide training and support to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of continuous ultrasound experience within the last 6 years, with no more than 1 year break in experience within the last 4 years.
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 3 certifications from the following list: Reg Diagnostic Med Sonographer Pediatric Sonography Certification, Reg Diagnostic Med Sonographer Fetal Echocardiography Certification, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echocardiogram Certificate, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Breast, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Abdomen, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Certificate, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Ob-Gyn, Basic Life Support.
