HVAC Mechanic Journeyman Position Overview

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanic Journeyman to provide top-notch maintenance and repairs on complex commercial HVAC systems.

About the Role

This position requires a minimum of five years of practical experience, with expertise in troubleshooting mechanical systems, refrigeration, and boiler operations. The ideal candidate will have up-to-date certification and prioritize employee safety while delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert maintenance and repair services for residential, light commercial, and heavy commercial HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical systems and perform repairs as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date certification in refrigeration and boiler operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in HVAC plumbing, pipefitting, and/or mechanical equipment service industry.
  • Valid driver's license and relevant licenses for working with refrigerants, boilers, and steam operational knowledge.
  • Mechanical Journeyman status required.
