At 360care, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers in delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient care, including vital signs, medical histories, and treatment plans.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
- Conduct routine medical procedures, such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and vital signs.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and responding to patient inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the sterilization of medical equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure understanding and compliance with treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Assistant certification or training preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position that requires regular attendance and flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly and safely in a fast-paced environment.
