Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance planners to facilitate repairs and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance measures.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment status.
- Participate in team safety efforts to achieve and exceed plant safety goals.
- 2 or 4-year post-secondary education in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in areas such as hydraulics, CAD, pneumatics, electrical, mechanical, or general maintenance.
- PLC experience and knowledge is strongly desired.
- TIG welding experience is strongly desired.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Safety leader and advocate of safe work procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and understand operating manuals.
