Manufacturing Process Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Optimization Specialist to join our team at Quest Global. This role will be based in Urbana, OH and will play a critical part in driving efficiency and innovation within our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize current manufacturing operations to improve productivity and reduce costs
- Analyze and document hidden factory capture opportunities
- Perform time studies for production lines to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain electronic manufacturing work instructions for related manufacturing processes
- Ensure inspection-related instructions align with current processes
- Collaborate with subject matter experts as needed
- Provide regular project status updates during internal and external meetings
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Manufacturing experience required
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams deploying complex processes
- Strong analytical skills, including data query writing and development
- US Citizenship required due to contractual obligations
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering
- Previous experience with electro-mechanical products preferred
- Documentation of manufacturing processes a plus
- Proficient in GD&T concepts
- Demonstrated capacity to meet aggressive deadlines while achieving excellent business results
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Experience working in multicultural environments and with diverse backgrounds preferred
- Shop floor environments with frequent standing and walking
- Substantial computer work
- Heavily regulated industries with strict adherence to procedures
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early
- Typical 8-hour days with core hours from 9 AM to 4 PM
- Ability to use personal transportation for customer visits
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident due to the nature of the work
$60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience
