Job Title: Clinical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at SAFY. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide clinical services to youth and families, using evidence-based interventions and trauma-informed care to help children heal and grow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 20 hours/week for client services, including assessments, treatment and safety planning, crisis intervention, therapy, and discharge planning.
  • Deliver intensive clinical services, including assessments, treatment and safety planning, crisis intervention, therapy, and discharge planning.
  • Use evidence-based practices to support client recovery from trauma, mental illness, and substance abuse.
  • Address family dysfunction, coordinate behavioral interventions for at-risk youth, and provide crisis intervention and safety planning.
  • Collaborate with DCS, schools, providers, and community partners to strengthen mental health care services.
  • Ensure timely documentation, compliance with licensing, and attend required meetings and training.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7 family safety needs.
Qualifications:
  • LCSW, LMHC, LMFT preferred.
  • We will also consider candidates who are working towards their independent licensure. These licenses in IN would be LSW (with Master's)/LMHCA/LMFTA.
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Sociology, Child & Family Studies, or a related human services field required. Must be eligible for licensure.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children, families, or within the child welfare system preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance required. Ability to meet travel requirements, including transporting youth as needed.
