Job Summary

Tricon Residential is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the timely completion of maintenance requests in our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and electrical components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems, including refrigerant handling and electrical work.
  • Repair or replace faucets, sinks, toilets, water heaters, and other minor plumbing repairs.
  • Accurately test for electrical current and troubleshoot minor electrical repairs.
  • Repair or replace electrical outlets, switches, breakers, GFCI's, and other minor electrical repairs.
  • Repair or replace pre-hung doors, locksets, doorknobs, and other minor hardware repairs.
  • Repair or replace windows, window screens, and other minor window repairs.
  • Repair or replace baseboards, door casings, and other minor hardware repairs.
  • Repair wall holes, texture, and paint walls and trim as needed.
  • Accurately fill out time sheets and enter all required data into work orders correctly.
  • Utilize technology, including work order systems and inventory tracking systems, to drive productivity and continuous maintenance service improvement.
Requirements
  • EPA 608 Certification for Refrigerant Management (At least Type II or Universal Certification required).
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5 years maintenance/construction background.
  • Daily travel between properties.
  • Ability to work in environmentally and physically challenging working conditions.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing 50lbs or more regularly.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
