Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of forklift operators and material handlers to ensure timely and accurate material handling.
  • Operate a forklift as a working team leader to ensure efficient material movement and storage.
  • Assign personnel daily work schedules and ensure that tasks are completed on time.
  • Responsible for the health and welfare of team members, including training and development.
  • Ensure that material is received, stored, and shipped in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct process audits to ensure employees are following the correct procedures and processes.
  • Develop and implement lean processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of forklift experience and 2+ years of warehouse experience required.
  • 1+ year of experience leading, supervising, or mentoring teams required.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Good computer skills and keyboard proficiency required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
