Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist - FFS

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Valence Care Family of Home Care Companies. As a Speech Language Pathologist - FFS, you will provide high-quality speech and language services to patients in their homes, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' speech and language abilities and deficits, developing personalized plans of care to address their needs.
  • Provide rehabilitative services for speech and language disorders, using evidence-based techniques and materials to achieve measurable goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress, participate in case conferences, and contribute to the development of patient care policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives, ensuring continuous quality and excellence in patient care.
Requirements:
  • A master's degree and certification of clinical competence in speech pathology granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • A license and current registration to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York State.
  • One full year of supervised institutional and one year home care experience is preferred.
  • Meets state health status requirements.

Salary Range: $80 - $100 per visit, depending on the type of visit. Please note that visit rates may vary depending on location, type of visit, and population.
