Bon Secours is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound procedures and techniques to produce diagnostic images for licensed practitioners to interpret.
- Demonstrate direct patient care in a compassionate and timely manner.
- Confirm the quality, accuracy, and confidentiality of all pertinent patient, lab, and procedural data.
- Participate in performance improvement projects and the education of new staff.
- Document sonographer's impressions and relay findings to physicians.
- Associates degree in Ultrasound technology from an accredited program.
- Credentialed in Ultrasound technology by one of the following: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), or Sonographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Tech (preferred).
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans.
