As a Mechanical Aircraft Instructor, you will play a critical role in supporting a large aerospace client in Huntsville, AL. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct training sessions covering mechanical and structural torquing, bond and ground, and sealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Training Sessions: Conduct training sessions covering specified areas of technical specialty, including mechanical and structural torquing, bond and ground, and sealing.
  • Prepare Training Areas: Prepare training areas to be teach-ready, ensuring a smooth and effective learning experience.
  • Maintain Training Programs: Maintain training programs and materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant.
  • Verify Prerequisites: Use My Learning to verify students have the required prerequisites prior to attending training.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of root cause analysis, corrective action, and training-related audit and other activities.
  • Record Management: Perform maintenance and/or file management of electronic and hard copy records.
  • Instructional Development: Recommend plans for development of instructional methods and delivery of individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
  • Cross-Training: Cross-train other instructors to ensure a high level of expertise across the team.
  • Travel: Travel to client sites as needed, with up to 20% travel required.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior instructor/trainer classroom delivery experience.
