The Material Handler position at GNC is a critical role responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products in and out of our warehouse. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks, orders, and materials required for warehouse operations.
- Operate various machines, including forklifts, order pickers, and speeders, to efficiently move products throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect products for damage and follow established procedures for handling and reporting damaged goods.
- Enter and verify inventory information using RF devices to ensure accurate tracking and management of warehouse stock.
- Remove empty skids and pallets from the warehouse to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform necessary paperwork for shipping and receiving, including bill of lading and carrier documentation.
- Unstack materials as required to maintain a safe and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and management.
- Ability to lift, bend, and move products as needed to perform job duties.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use RF devices for inventory management.
