Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. As a proactive and compassionate nurse, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure individualized care that meets the unique needs of each patient.

Core Responsibilities
  • Exemplary Practice and Outcomes
    • Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) using evidence-based practice and analytical thinking to ensure individualized care.
    • Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that adapts to population-specific characteristics and cultural diversity.
    • Partner with patients and significant others to set and achieve care goals.
    • Practice using current clinical practice standards.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration
    • Coordinate safe, quality patient care that promotes the professional care delivery model.
    • Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration by practicing in a fiscally responsible manner and promoting the recruitment and retention of healthcare team members.
    • Participate in performance improvement, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care.
  • Professional Development and Initiative
    • Complete initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, mandatory education, and population-specific education.
    • Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff to ensure a qualified workforce.
  • Evidence-Based Practice and Research
    • Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement in nursing.
    • Participate in activities such as value analysis to evaluate patient care products.
    • Uphold health care system/organizational policies and procedures, clinical competencies, and legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
  • Resources and Support
    • Proactively plan for patient care across the care continuum.
    • Participate in the development of protocols and procedures to achieve best practice outcomes.
    • Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in nursing or graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
  • Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact required.
  • Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor required.
  • Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English language required.
  • Optimize the use of technology to support clinical care and hold basic computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills, and customer service skills required.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies in a decisive, composed, and respectful manner.
  • Possess excellent time management skills and practice nursing using evidence and analytical skills.
