Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN to join our team at a prestigious healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, specifically within the Emergency Department.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS, PALS, BLS (certifications must be from the American Heart Association)
  • TNCC

Position Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS (from the American Heart Association) and TNCC
  • Minimum Experience: 2 years in a relevant field
Work Schedule
  • Shifts: Mids variable shifts including 10am-10pm, 12pm-12am, and 3pm-3am
  • Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 36
  • Weekend Commitment: Minimum of two weekends per schedule
  • On-call Requirements: None

  • Department: Emergency Department
  • Trauma Level: 3
  • Open Positions: 1
  • Bed Capacity: 48 with additional flex space
  • Patient Ratios: 4:1 in Main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track
  • Equipment Utilized: Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle and Istat POC, Ultrasound Guided IV
  • Electronic Health Record System: Cerner
  • Patient Demographics: ESRD, Cirrhosis, COPD, Psychiatric conditions
  • Essential Skills: Experience with Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, and Moderate Sedation
  • Preferred Experience: 2 years in an Emergency Department setting
  • Common Diagnoses: ESRD, Substance Abuse Disorders, Psychological Disorders, COPD, CHF, Abdominal Pain, Chest Pain
  • Required Education: RN ADN
Additional Information

This position promotes a collaborative nursing environment, utilizing a team nursing and pod system, with a social worker assigned to the department and a unit educator available for support.
