Responsibilities:
- Manage and litigate family law cases from inception to resolution, gaining valuable courtroom experience.
- Conduct thorough research to develop family law cases on various legal issues.
- Exhibit strong research, writing, and analytical skills in all aspects of case management.
- Participate in depositions, mediations, and hearings as required.
- Draft, review, and analyze legal documents with a focus on organization and time management.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients of varying backgrounds regarding complex legal matters.
- Maintain professional relationships with outside attorneys, senior management, clients, and support staff.
- Track billable hours and ensure comprehensive client and case management.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Family Law is required. Candidates must be licensed to practice in California. Certification as a Family Law Specialist (CFLS) or eligibility is preferred.
