We are seeking a skilled Golf Equipment Specialist to join our team at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort. The ideal candidate will have expertise in repair and maintenance of golf course equipment, with a focus on ensuring timely and proper completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the maintenance facility in a clean and safe condition, adhering to OSHA, DHEC, and Town of Hilton Head Fire Department regulations.
  • Order parts and materials needed for repairs, following financial procedures established by the Manager, Equipment Maintenance.
  • Schedule workloads based on priority, collaborating with the Golf Course Superintendent and Manager of Equipment Maintenance to determine importance.
  • Record and document all work performed on equipment, maintaining an orderly filing system.
  • Be responsible for inventory management of parts, tools, and materials within the maintenance shop facility.
  • Maintain gas and fuel tanks, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Provide equipment maintenance services on weekends and holidays, guaranteeing continuous support.
  • Ensure all safety devices are operational and properly maintained.
  • Responsible for small engine repair, including flymos and weedeaters.
  • Sharpen and maintain reels as directed by the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Work flexible hours to ensure daily equipment needs are met.
