Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels on the sales floor to ensure accurate stock levels and prevent overstocking or understocking.
  • Manage customer orders and delivery, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Compare inventory ledgers with product received to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service relations, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform maintenance duties, including cleaning and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.
  • Load and unload merchandise as needed, ensuring safe and efficient handling of products.
  • Perform janitorial duties, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a stockroom position or similar role, with a strong understanding of inventory management and customer service principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to accurately count and record inventory levels.
  • Able to manage time efficiently and effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs or more and stand for extended periods of time, with a strong physical stamina.
  • Ability to navigate inventory software, with a basic understanding of computer systems and technology.
