Job Opportunity: Part-Time/Adjunct Automotive Instructor

Savannah Technical College is seeking a qualified individual to teach in our Automotive Technology program. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in a classroom and lab environment.

Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Automotive Technology or related field preferred.
  • Five years of automotive work experience within the past seven years preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as computer skills.
  • Current ASE Certification in all areas teaching.
  • Teaching experience at a postsecondary institution is desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and retention of students.
  • Daily teaching duties include class lecture, lesson planning, student advisement, and classroom management.
  • Flexible work schedule hours to include day/evening classes, at all campus locations.
Physical Demands

The successful candidate must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, which include standing for long periods, lifting, and bending.

Salary

Salary is commensurate with education and work experience.
