Job Title: Director of Quality

At Precision Machined Products LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Quality to lead our quality management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our products and services, while also driving continuous improvement and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality management systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead a team of quality professionals to ensure effective quality control and assurance practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reporting to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications, including AS9100D, ISO9001:2015, and ITAR.
  • Manage external quality system audits and customer quality requirements.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards for incoming materials and components.
  • Utilize data analysis techniques to monitor quality metrics and drive informed decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as Engineering, Science, or Quality Management.
  • Five years of experience in manufacturing quality function, preferably in a highly regulated environment.
  • Professional certifications, such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt, are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive informed decision-making.
