The primary responsibility of this role is to manufacture abrasive components for grinding wheels. Key duties include:

  • Conducting inspections of completed components
  • Utilizing measuring tools to assess product specifications
  • Operating machinery for loading and unloading tasks
  • Finishing products according to provided work instructions and technical drawings
  • Confirming the quantity of each finished item
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the workspace

This position requires the capability to lift weights up to 40 lbs.

Shifts available include 1st and 3rd shifts, with a schedule of Sunday/Monday through Thursday (10 hours). Overtime on Fridays may be available, but participation is optional.

Essential Skills
  • Proficient in inspecting completed products
  • Skilled in using measuring tools
  • Experience with machine operation for loading and unloading
  • Adept at finishing products per specifications
  • Competent in verifying product quantities
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Employment Type

This role is classified as a Contract-to-Hire position with an initial duration of 90 days.

Work Environment

The work setting is a traditional manufacturing facility equipped with older machinery. The environment may be less than pristine, but improvements are underway. Please note that air conditioning is not available.
