Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer uniforms, paid bi-weekly, hotel expenses and meal per diem ($50/day) for multi-day trips, travel and entertainment discounts through corporate partners, IRA matching, and health insurance for full-time employees.
Job Description
This role involves operating a motorcoach on specified routes according to established schedules, ensuring passenger safety, and providing excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include performing pre-trip safety inspections, monitoring vehicle condition, developing defensive driving skills, and reporting any unusual conditions or incidents. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist disabled passengers, provide verbal and written reports, and participate in training new drivers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you must have a valid driver's license for the past 3 years, a clean driving record, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You should also possess the necessary licenses and endorsements (Class A or B CDL with Passenger Endorsement, Air Brakes), be able to pass a DOT medical exam, and obtain required permits if not already licensed. Furthermore, you should be able to work varied hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, and establish effective working relationships with colleagues, management, and the public.
