Position Overview: We are in search of a seasoned Director of Engineering Operations to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will possess visionary leadership qualities, a robust technical foundation, and a proven track record in managing engineering teams and projects. In this role, you will supervise all engineering functions, champion innovation, and guarantee the effective delivery of technical solutions to our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct the engineering division, including project managers, engineers, and support personnel.
  • Formulate and execute strategic initiatives to fulfill engineering and organizational objectives.
  • Supervise the design, development, and execution of engineering projects to adhere to quality, budgetary, and timeline standards.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation, continuous enhancement, and teamwork within the engineering division.
  • Work in conjunction with other departments to synchronize engineering projects with business goals.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and safety measures.
  • Manage resource distribution, budgeting, and performance assessments for the engineering division.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements and industry trends to foster innovation and maintain competitive edge.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members to facilitate professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering; a Master's degree is preferred. A Professional Engineering License (PE) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong technical expertise in heavy industrial projects involving process machinery and pressure vessels.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet client expectations across various sectors such as oil refining, natural gas, specialty chemicals, and food industries.
  • Familiarity with B31.1/B31.3 piping design and inline devices.
  • Experience in facility design and managing intricate engineering projects.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to excel in a dynamic environment and proficiency in engineering software and tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
