Clinical Liaison

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Liaison to join our team at POLYTECH School District. As a Clinical Liaison, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality clinical nursing instruction to our students and supervising nursing assistants and students during laboratory classes and clinical externship experiences.

• Collaborate with POLYTECH Nurse Assisting Program teachers to deliver exceptional clinical nursing instruction to students
• Supervise and educate Health & Medical Academy students during laboratory classes at POLYTECH High School
• Supervise and educate program students during clinical externship experiences at local medical facilities
• Maintain accurate student records, including attendance and grades
• Perform other duties as assigned by the lead Nurse Assisting teacher

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing and current BLS certification
• Must hold a current Delaware Registered Nurse License
• Five years of nursing experience related to the clinical environment
• One year of prior teaching experience, or supervision of nursing assistants, or Train the Trainer certificate (preferred)
• Experience supervising and teaching high school students (preferred)

• This is an hourly rate position in accordance with the State of Delaware's published rate for instructional staff for Fiscal Year 2024
• This position reports to the lead Nurse Assisting teacher
• Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check, ManToux Tuberculin skin test, physical and immunization records, 9/10 Panel Drug Screen, and Adult Abuse/Child Protection Registry Clearance must be completed prior to start of employment
• Direct deposit of payroll checks is mandatory, and employees are paid on a lag pay schedule with the first payment made after approximately one month of employment
