Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start time options: 7:30am or 8:15am

Position Overview
The role involves maintaining precise and current health records for all students, including medication directives and allergy alerts for faculty. Responsibilities include administering prescribed medications, conducting daily health evaluations, and providing assistance to the Licensed Practical Nurse as required. The position also entails delivering care during student injuries, documenting incidents, and educating staff on health and safety protocols. Additionally, the School RN will ensure the medical supply cabinet is well-stocked, administer vaccinations, and oversee overall health and safety standards within the educational facility.

Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New York State
  • At least six months of professional nursing experience is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in delivering care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • BLS Certification is required.
