Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join our team at ICONMA. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up test apparatus, conducting tests of electronic assemblies and units, and laying out and assembling units for production electronic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of electronic assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
  • Lay out and assemble units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications.
  • Adjust and calibrate systems as required.
  • Correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed.
  • Determine types of tests to be performed, approve and suggest modifications to testing equipment, and analyze test results to evaluate performance of products and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot to the component level.
  • Utilize schematic diagrams to isolate failures on Analog and Digital circuitry.
  • Work in a dynamic production environment and produce at a high level in support of customer schedules.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of direct experience in electronics testing and assembly.
  • Proficient in component level troubleshooting of solid state, digital, and RF circuits.
  • Able to use Microsoft Suite and other data collection programs to accurately document maintenance actions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive RF testing experience.
  • Familiarity with Radar Systems.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks.
