Starting pay for LPNs is $30/hour. The average projected total annual compensation is approximately $76,004, based on actual earnings of current LPNs, which includes overtime and additional paid wages in our facilities.

We are currently looking for Charge Nurses for the 11-7 shift.

iCare Health Network is located in a tranquil residential area, easily accessible from major highways. Our facility features a charming Victorian-style building that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. We pride ourselves on being a five-star facility, thanks to our dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities of the Charge Nurse:
  • Develops and executes the highest achievable quality of care for each resident within the assigned unit.
  • Coordinates, assigns, directs, and prioritizes the duties of other staff members, primarily CNAs, to ensure smooth operations of the nursing unit.
  • Makes independent nursing care decisions as required, collaborating with the RN Supervisor when necessary.
  • Records changes in patient conditions, new orders, unusual occurrences, and incidents, including employee injuries, reporting significant events to the RN Supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered nursing license in Connecticut.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience in acute care and/or long-term care within a skilled nursing environment.
  • Experience in rehabilitation or behavioral health is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English, encompassing speaking, reading, and writing, is required.
  • Experience with EMR systems is preferred.
