At United Petfood Producers USA Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties in all areas of the plant, including production, packaging, and warehouse spaces.
• Inspect and maintain adherence to food safety and cleanliness standards, ensuring compliance with FDA, FSSC 22000, AIB, and HACCP programs.
• Operate and maintain chemical or non-chemical pest control systems, ensuring proper use and tracking of chemical inventory.
• Participate in mandatory safety trainings and adhere to all safety policies, reporting any safety issues or near misses.
• Collaborate with the Sanitation Supervisor to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to elements such as odor, noise, heat, cold, dust, and chemicals.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and consecutively.
• Knowledge of chemical usage procedures and personal protective equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of visual work control and 5S principles.
• Experience using forklifts, scissor lifts, and bobcats.
