Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembler 1st Shift to join our production team at Justrite Safety Group. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in the assembly of Cushion-Dek mats, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret production schedules to determine mat dimensions.
  • Lay out product tiles face down and secure them together using a safe bonding adhesive.
  • Cut tabs off edges of tiles and bevel the perimeters of mats using a planer.
  • Monitor the quality of the product to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Roll up mats and package them according to specifications or tags.
  • Complete daily production reports and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist in maintaining departmental standards and observe all safety and environmental procedures.
  • Provide relief for oven staff during breaks or absences.
  • Perform other duties as requested by supervision.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow instructions.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent standing and reaching horizontally, as well as occasional pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 70 pounds. The work environment is typically indoors with moderate temperatures and humidity levels.

Equipment Used

This position utilizes various tools and equipment, including utility knives, rubber mallets, planners, clothespins, tape guns, staple guns, and squirt bottles.
