Schedule: Full-Time - Day/Morning Rotating Shifts (Hours: 7a-7p & 7p-7a)
Weekend and Holiday Requirements: As necessary
Location: Newark, DE
The Transitional Neuro Unit is a specialized 6-bed step-down facility dedicated to the care of patients transitioning from the Neuro Critical Care unit. This unit is focused on managing a variety of neurological and neurosurgical conditions, including but not limited to:
- Hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes
- Cerebral aneurysms
- Brain tumors
- Infections of the brain and spine
- Complex spinal surgeries
- Hydrocephalus
- Neuromuscular disorders
- Seizures and status epilepticus
- Isolated neurotrauma

Qualifications:
- Active RN license required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory; commitment to obtaining a BSN within three years of hire date.
- BLS Certification is essential.
