Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Summit Ford in Silverthorne, Colorado. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest standards.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position with a highly competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan, paid time off, and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repair work in accordance with company and manufacturer quality standards and procedures.
  • Inspect vehicles, diagnose problems, and perform adjustments and calibrations.
  • Replenish fluids, disassemble, and reassemble vehicle components, and repair and replace parts as needed.
  • Road test vehicles for diagnosis and repair verification, and document work and hours according to manufacturer and/or company policies.

Requirements

  • Prefer 2 years manufacture experience, but will consider and discuss applicants with 2 years other line technician experience.
  • Certifications as appropriate for individual position, such as Technical Certificate or ASE certificate.
  • Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities, effective analytical and communication skills, and eagerness to improve.
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications, and operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • High School Diploma or GED (required), and valid driver's license and clean driving record.
