We are seeking passionate and skilled medical assistants to enhance our dedicated team. Our practice focuses on delivering high-quality dermatological care to a diverse patient population. As a medical assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support healthcare providers during medical procedures and surgeries, including tasks such as phlebotomy and managing prescriptions.
  • Assist patients with advanced treatments, including laser and phototherapy.
  • Act as a liaison between patients, pharmacies, and insurance providers to address inquiries and facilitate prescription processes.
  • Conduct patient triage, gather medical histories, maintain accurate documentation, and prepare examination and treatment areas.

Qualifications:

  • - Must possess an associate's degree or higher.
  • Strongly recommended to be vaccinated against COVID-19, including any boosters.
  • - Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required; additional language skills are advantageous.
  • - Availability for at least one Saturday shift per month is essential.
  • - Flexibility to start early or work late is necessary.
  • - LPN or RN licensure is beneficial.
  • - Previous experience in a dermatology setting is preferred.

Commitment:

We prefer full-time candidates who can commit to a minimum of two years. Exceptional part-time candidates may also be considered. Our office operates on weekdays and Saturdays.
