Job Opportunity

Geisinger is seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join their Women's Health team in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

The successful candidate will provide direct patient care and clinical support for physicians and other providers in an outpatient setting.

This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package, including a $3,000 sign-on bonus paid over two years, as well as a comprehensive benefits package with three medical plan choices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and clinical support in the outpatient setting.
  • Function as an integral member of the healthcare team under the direction of the provider.
  • Perform technical duties such as preparing patients, collecting and reviewing pertinent information, and documenting using the electronic medical record.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited 1-year certificate or 2-year diploma Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assist (RMA) required.
  • Certified by one of the listed governing associations required: NHA, AMT, AAMA, NAHP, NCCT, AAH, or AMCA.
Estimated Salary Range

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
