**Overview of the Position**
This position is located in the Bureau of Food and Recreational Businesses and will provide advanced scientific and technical support to internal and external partners in the interpretation and application of agency food, dairy, and recreational code, statute, and policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides expert-level guidance and training to end users on the effective use of technology in managing food and recreational systems.
- Serves as a liaison and trainer to partners on current practice expectations or standards as well as pending changes at the state or federal level that may impact how they perform their assigned work duties.
- Assists management in developing guidelines, policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and training concerning technical issues.
Requirements:
- Must have eligibility to obtain a Wisconsin RS certificate or a NEHA REHS/RS certificate within 18 months of start date.
- Requires experience creating materials used for training purposes and delivering training in a face-to-face setting and/or through remote communication technology.
- Must have training and/or experience modifying, configuring, designing, or developing software applications in order to improve business efficiency.
