Cardiovascular Catheterization Specialist

Hunterdon Health seeks a skilled Registered Radiology Technologist to join our Cardiovascular Catheterization Team as a Cardiovascular Catheterization Specialist.

**Job Summary:**

The successful candidate will serve as a member of the Cardiovascular Catheterization Team, performing technical duties associated with procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab. They will assist physicians in performing procedures and support nursing staff with patient care activities.

**Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the Catheterization Laboratory and equipment for procedures, maintain supply inventory, and ensure a clean environment of care.
• Function as scrub assistant during diagnostic, interventional, and other procedures performed in the Cath Lab.
• Act as hemodynamic monitor and control room operator during procedures, providing accurate recordkeeping of procedures.
• Deliver high-quality radiographic imaging, including quality assurance and radiation safety.
• Review documentation, explain procedures, answer questions, and provide an exceptional patient experience.
• Maintain records of images, reports, equipment maintenance, and inventory control.

**Requirements:**

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Graduate of Radiology Technology program, Registered Radiology Technologist through AART
• 1 Year of experience, preferred 2 or more years
• Registered Radiology Technologist RT(R) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent, or registry eligible
• ACLS
• BLS
• Computer skills, communication, and customer service skills are essential
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize duties
• Self-directed with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in stressful environments

**Compensation:** The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
