We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory team at UnityPoint Health. As an Ambulatory RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition from pre-op to post-op and discharge.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive pre-op and post-op care for patients of all ages undergoing surgical procedures.
- Prepare patients for surgery, conduct assessments, and provide necessary education.
- Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions in patient care.
- Coordinate follow-up appointments and any necessary home care services.
- Diploma from an RN program.
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the primary state.
- Must apply within 90 days for licensure in the secondary state.
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must possess and maintain ACLS certification.
