Position Summary:

As a Commercial Electrical Top Helper, you will work under the guidance of experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of electrical installation, including rough-in, wiring, and fixture setup. This role is essential for developing your skills in the electrical trade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation of electrical wiring under the supervision of licensed electricians.
  • Support the rough-in process for electrical back boxes and raceways.
  • Help install wiring in raceways, MC cables, light fixtures, and hanger wires.
  • Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Foster positive communication and relationships with clients and supervisors.
  • Collaborate with electricians to proactively address challenges and ensure quality work.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Basic mathematical skills (up to a 5th-grade level).
  • Ability to accurately read measurements using tape measures and rulers.
  • Mechanical aptitude or prior experience in construction is preferred.

  • Minimum of 1 year of electrical experience is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy materials, as well as climb ladders.
