This is a specialized clinical role performing and assisting with Magnetic Resonance Imaging. The successful candidate will require competence in performing basic MRI exams and have a strong understanding of Magnetic Resonance equipment, procedures, and techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and assist with MRI exams, ensuring high-quality images are obtained.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, performing quality control checks and troubleshooting as needed.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Position patients correctly to provide high-quality imaging.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals.
- National registration with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) and MRI registration.
- Current CPR certification for Health Care Providers.
- 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to determine the best method for providing requested images.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to explain MR procedures to patients and elicit cooperation.
