Job Opportunity

This role provides a unique chance for Cosmetology students to gain hands-on experience in a professional salon environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists and learns from experienced hair artists in one of our PENZONE Salon locations
  • Earns hours towards a Cosmetology License while gaining valuable industry knowledge
  • Develops professional interactions with guests and team members
  • Experiences the PENZONE brand and gains insight into a future career in our salons
  • Ensures compliance with Ohio State Board of Cosmetology Internship requirements
  • Receives and acts upon feedback from professionals to improve individual skills
  • Builds confidence and knowledge as a new artist and professional
  • Manages necessary paperwork and tracked hours for school and State board

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Actively enrolled in a school program pursuing a state license in cosmetology and have completed at least 750 hours
  • Required to provide a letter of recommendation from a Cosmetology Instructor
  • Must successfully complete the PENZONE interview process to be selected for an internship position
