We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at True Dermatology. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk.
Key Responsibilities:- Greets and welcomes patients, registering new patients and updating existing patient demographics as needed.
- Answers phone calls, directs calls as necessary, and maintains a polite and consistent manner using proper telephone etiquette.
- Facilitates patient flow by notifying clinical staff of patient arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff.
- Keeps office supplies stocked and monitors office equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Verifies patient health benefits with approved healthcare companies and sends out and receives medical records and referrals as needed.
- Ensures a positive experience for each patient through excellent customer service practices.
- High School Degree or equivalent completion.
- 1-2 years of medical office experience preferred.
- Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work well independently.
