Position Overview
The State of Montana is seeking a dedicated Treatment Technician to support the Montana Chemical Dependency Center, the sole state-operated inpatient facility for chemical dependency treatment.
This role is vital in assisting individuals aged 18 and older who are grappling with substance use disorders or co-occurring mental health issues. The Treatment Technician's responsibilities encompass:
- Engaging with patients to assess their needs and aid in daily living activities.
- Documenting patient information, including behavioral assessments, vital signs, and symptoms.
- Collecting and entering data for patient admissions into the facility's system.

Qualifications for the Role
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Proficiency in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment, including software for spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and email.
- Minimum qualifications include:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of relevant experience in a healthcare environment.
- Other combinations of education and experience may be evaluated on an individual basis.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid CPR/AED/FIRST AID certification prior to employment.
