As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for examining and treating patients, collaborating with physicians, and providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and diagnose patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic test results as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring timely and effective patient care.
- Collect and record patient information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and other treatments as necessary.
- Advise patients on disease prevention, medication management, and health maintenance.
- Maintain a deep understanding of gastrointestinal diseases, staying current with new developments and best practices in the field.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field, with National Board Certification and BLS certification.
- Experience in gastroenterology or pain treatment, with proficiency in MS Excel and electronic health systems.
- Strong computer skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
- Continually moves around a medical center/healthcare environment, with frequent communication with others and exchange of information.
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs, with the ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
