Position Overview:
As a Senior Field Project Leader, you will take on a pivotal role in enhancing PC's footprint in the Charlotte, NC area while overseeing some of the most intricate water and wastewater construction projects in the nation.
We foster a collaborative and solution-oriented environment where we expect our leaders to leverage their expertise daily.
The Superintendent on PC's project teams leads all field operations, encompassing both self-performed and subcontracted work. The ideal candidate will possess extensive water/wastewater experience (10+ years) and regularly manage projects ranging from $15M to $50M.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule the sequence of tasks and identify the necessary resources to maintain an effective timeline.
- Develop and execute a site logistics strategy.
- Coordinate construction activities, including shutdowns, testing, and inspections.
- Lead the management of equipment utilization and maintenance.
- Foster relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and, when necessary, the owner.
- Formulate project safety plans and specific safety initiatives.
- Engage in project budgeting and cost control measures.
- Contribute to project initiation and completion efforts.
- Oversee quality assurance, including inspections and punch list items.
