Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including counseling and education on medication use and health-related topics.
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and optimal health outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest clinical developments and advancements in pharmacy practice, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a retail pharmacy setting, with a focus on patient care and community health.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
